On WhatsApp, the biggest fear, however, is whether the receiver has read the messages or was it even delivered? Then there's the worst fears of all - have you been blocked? Unfortunately, WhatsApp doesn't notify you when you're blocked by someone. But there are ways to find out if someone has blocked you. Blocking is a very handy tool on WhatsApp that can help you stop receiving messages, calls and status updates from certain contacts by blocking them. So here are few options to know who blocked you on WhatsApp:
WhatsApp Last Seen
Being online on WhatsApp means that the contact has WhatsApp
open in the foreground on their phone and is connected to the Internet.
However, it does not necessarily guarantee they have read your messages. Last
seen on WhatsApp refers to the last time the contact used WhatsApp. Through the
privacy settings of the app lets users control who can see their last seen.
WhatsApp users should note that they cannot hide online.
No Profile Change Visible
Another indicator is you do not see updates to a contact's
profile photo. You won't be able to see and stays updates or sent messages will
never delivered
Send WhatsApp Messages
Another important indicator whether you have been blocked is
when any messages sent to a contact who has blocked you will always show one
check mark (message sent), and never show a second check mark (message
delivered).
No WhatsApp Call allowed
One of the important indicators that you have been blocked
by a contact is when you try to make a call. Any calls you attempt on WhatsApp
to place will not go through.
Try to add the person to a Group
If it's still not clear whether you have been blocked or
not, another important indicator is Group. Try to add the contact to a Group,
if you get errors on adding the person then you may have been blocked. In case
you have been blocked then you will get an error saying, "Couldn't add XYZ
(contact name)."
How to block a contact on WhatsApp?
1.Click on the Menu Button ->>and now tap on Settings->
> Account ->> Privacy ->> Blocked contacts.
2.Tap Add
3.Select the contact you wish to block from the list.
How to block an unknown number on WhatsApp?
1.Open the chat with the unknown contact.
2.Tap Block.
3.Alternatively, if you think that the message is a spam then
you will also have the option to Report spam, which will report and block the
user.
How to unblock a contact on WhatsApp?
1.Tap on the Menu Button ->> Settings ->> Account ->>
Privacy ->> Blocked contacts.
2.Tap and hold the contact's name.
3.Tap unblock from the pop-up menu.
Alternatively, WhatsApp users can also simply send a message
to the contact
